Logotype design & Business Cards.
Well established multi-talented photograph, Luciano wanted to up his game and work on his professional image.
Used to shoot people and private events such as weddings, he told me he was really looking to shift his target audience to professionals and corporate clients.
Because of the importance it has in photography and how it also defines Luciano’s personality, I oriented my searches toward light and how it can affect our perception of objects.
I based my design off the way light can outline objects in specific back lighting situations. The logo represents Luciano’s silhouette taking a picture on a black circular background.
To illustrate the name of the studio “Vu d’Un Oeil” (translating into “seen from one eye”), I only drew the camera lense as his “one” eye. The silhouette’s line is leaking out of the circular background to symbolize his open-mindness.
The business card has been thought as a micro portfolio, displaying as many pictures as possible.
We made a selection of photos that would illustrate several types of shots he could offer (portraits with his self-portrait, products with the camera and scenery with the child running).
Every picture is also supporting the expression of his personality through a diplay of his passion, him and his inner child.
Overall, the business card became an actual art project, a mini photo-exposition.
