After our initial contact, we will schedule a meeting to go through your project. You will tell me about it, your goals and objectives in order for me to help you assess your needs.
Hosting, web domain, CMS… I will also take a few minutes during this meeting to bring you up to speed on all these terms and discuss your budget before jumping on the estimates.
A basic prototype of your future website where we decide where everything will go and think about user experience (UX) and responsivness (adaptability to different screen sizes).
For “High Fidelity”, a second prototype that goes far beyond the first one. This one will look, feel, sound and smell like the real thing! Here, we focus on the user interface (UI), optimizing your content for search engines (SEO) and making the whole thing look like you!*
*this step will require a complete visual identity to be provided. If you don’t currently have one, let me know or just check my packages here.
Enough with the prototype, it’s time to get our hands dirty! I will replicate the Hi-Fi into my Content Management System (WordPress) using themes and plugins to build your website off-line from the ground up.
After careful testing, we will decide on a launch date and plan that amazing event! But before that, we’ll meet again for a quick tutorial on how to use your website and ensure basic maintenance depending on your needs.
And yes, I know you’re not a techy and you are already panicking about those first weeks with your new born website. Worry not for I will remain By Your Side for a month taking care of any little details that will require fine tuning.
If you don’t feel comfortable taking care of the maintenance yourself after that initial month, I also offer monthly maintenance packages and I’ll tell you all about them in that first meeting we’ll have!
